We felt extremely comfortable here , the staff were extremely accommodating to us answering all our questions for our first trip to Hualtuco. It's in a great location with many high quality restaurants in short walking distance. The rooms were very comfortable with great beds , clean and great showers we would definitely return

Very clean, very quiet. Comfortable beds and air conditioning. It is just off the main plaza of La Crucecita, so it's not on or within walking distance of the bays. But the location is surrounded by tons of food options, and shopping opportunities. Will stay here again.

Update December 2023: I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Crucecita. Everything remains at the highest quality. We stayed for a week this visit and explored more beaches. I really enjoyed the fresh flowers in our room. The only added note: there is no elevator, so if you have some mobilty issues, ask for a room one flight up; there are no rooms on the ground floor. The restaurant continues to be absolutely delightful. Be sure to reserve a table on the weekends and if dining after 7:00 pm. March 2023- Excellent hotel! We booked by chance at the last minute after looking at many other hotels on line. I feel lucky that we stumbled on such a clean, modern, attractive room just off the central park. The bed (linens and pillows); the bathroom and shower with hot water; the AC, are all wonderful. The front desk even provides towels for the beach! Ignacio, who frequently was at the reception desk, was especially helpful, providing us with a printed out map of the beaches and describing them for us in Spanish. Thank you! Always pleasant greeting from him. We will definitely stay here on return visits. And yes, the 1st floor restaurant, Terra Cotta, is another reason to be delighted by our decision. On a hot night (or morning), the other nearby open air restaurants are not nearly as appealing: this is one of the few restaurants we have been to with attractive, non-deafening music. Lovely ambience and efficient service, with the choice of dining outside under fans or inside with AC. It was a favorite over a 4 day stay.

Restaurant TERRACOTTA below this hotel is simply superb.

I love staying at this hotel, I go every year, but it is just for relaxing time, I do enjoy my time here, I did not have any WIFI, which is a boomer, but, overall I had a pretty good resting time, it is quiet, Hotel has a lot of room for improvements, such as coffee maker for the coffee lovers, a do not disturb sign, little details that will make their customers happier. Customer service is decent enough, housekeeping is also very active and attentive, comfortable beds that’s for sure, is an small hotel and depending on your economy could we said that is not cheap but neither is expensive, it has an accesible price.

I can’t say enough about how lovely this boutique hotel is. The hotel is always in great shape and during my last stay there were updates to the lobby, entryway and main staircase. Staff are always polite, friendly and willing to help with anything. I have stayed here numerous times and it is my go to place whenever I am in the area. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Mai’s service does not get any better and the prices are reasonable. I always opt for a room with a balcony to enjoy morning with my coffee. The only thing I would suggest is that they have coffee available in the little waiting area off the lobby in the morning for guests so guests don’t have to run down to Oxxo to get coffee as none of the coffee shops seem to be open before 8.

Best restaurant I have been in Oaxaca. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The food is incredible!!!!! Me and my husband have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have had a 5 plus star meal every time! This is a place you don't want to miss!!!! You have to try the coconut stuffed French toast!!! It's their signature dish and it is incredible!!!

Beautiful hotel with clean comfy rooms, air conditioning and amazing shower pressure! The hotel staff was very helpful. Plus I believe the staff takes care of stray animals and treats them very kindly, which for me makes this place even better. The restaurant downstairs served delicious food as well.
